The Cabin in the Woods is an American 3D tongue-in-cheek thriller-horror film, co-written and directed by Drew Goddard and co-written and produced by Joss Whedon. It stars Richard Jenkins, Bradley Whitford and Amy Acker. Although it was slated for a January 14, 2011 release, ongoing financial difficulties at MGM have delayed the release of the movie indefinitely.
