Standup Tig Notaro has a new project headed to Netflix. Tig is about how Notaro found herself on stage in 2012 when she opened her standup set at Largo in Los Angeles with the line, “Good evening. Hello. I have cancer.” That came at the end of a tumultuous four-month period that included both the loss of her mother and her subsequent breast cancer diagnosis. Netflix describes the film as “an unflinching look at a woman determined to find humor, life and love in the places we all fear the most.”
