On the roof of her high-rise apartment building in Shanghai, the young half-orphan Yi discovers a yeti that had escaped from the captivity of the businessman Burnish. Pursued by Burnish and the scientist Dr. Zara, Yi, together with her friends Peng and Jin, tries to bring the yeti back to its home on Mount Everest. In the process, it becomes apparent that the creature has very special powers.
