How do I add a part to a series?
- If no page about the series has been created yet, you should do this first. A series is created like a movie, but then you have to assign the movie type “Series” to this movie. To do this, click on “edit” in the movie data on the new movie page and select “series” under movie type. Confirm the entry with “OK”.
- Now you create a new movie, but set as movie type either season or episode. So you have now created possible parts for the series.
- On the series page you will find the “Parts” tab. Here you will find a list of all the parts that belong to the series. On the right side you will also find an overview of the individual parts of this series.
- Clicking the “edit” button opens a new window where you can add individual seasons or episodes to this series. In the left window you will find all the currently assigned parts of the series, in the right window you can search for new parts you want to add. If you then click on one of the seasons or episodes you are looking for, it will be moved to the left window. Click “OK” to confirm the entry.
Attention: The episodes of a season/series are automatically sorted by their broadcast date. That means you can’t change the order of the episodes manually, only indirectly via the date of the first broadcast! Seasons, unless they have proper names, should be named “Season 1”, “Season 2”, etc., and not First Season, 1st Season, or similar.
How do I add a movie to a movie series?
