A true-to-life computer-animated remake of the 1994 animated film. Simba is the young son of Mufasa, the Lion King, and is to become his successor. But Mufasa's brother Scar plots against him and kills Mufasa. Simba, who is thought to be dead, feels guilty and withdraws.
