High up in the Himalayas, yetis live in a small village whose everyday life is shaped by ancient laws carved in stone. When young Migo sees a person who has crashed in an airplane and reports about the "Smallfoot", he is expelled from the community, because according to dogma there are no humans. In search of evidence, Migo goes to the valley, where he encounters nature filmmaker Percy.
