The evil wizard Grindelwald escapes during an overpass in 1927. Meanwhile, wizard Newt Scamander is stuck in London because he is blamed for the destruction in New York the previous year. But his old teacher Dumbledore sends him to Paris, where Grindelwald is, who hopes to gain power through the orphan Credence. Newt's secret love Tina is also there.
