After a life crisis, Alice begins to get involved in refugee aid. Right at the beginning, she meets Samba, a Senegalese man who is to be deported. Nevertheless, he continues to stay in Paris illegally and tries to keep his head above water with odd jobs, in which his buddy Wilson also helps him. Over time, Samba and Alice grow closer.
