Successful advertising executive Howard completely isolates himself after the death of his six-year-old daughter. His friends and business partners Whit, Claire and Simon worry not only about him, but also about the future of the company. They hire three actors to appear to him as Death, Time and Love to show that Howard is not mentally healthy.
