Hubert Bonisseur is a secret agent very convinced of himself, but has many gaps in his education. When his friend and colleague Jack is killed shortly after the Second World War, Hubert travels to Cairo to find the murderer. He receives support from Jack's co-worker, the attractive Egyptian Larmina.
