The first of eight fantasy films about a witchcraft boarding school, all based on the bestselling novels by Joanne K. Rowling. The orphan boy Harry Potter learns that he has magical powers and comes to the wizarding school Hogwarts, where he has adventures with his friends Ron and Hermione in the fight against dark forces.
