7-part propaganda movie series of the USA from the years 1942 to 1945, which wanted to explain the war participation of the USA in the Second World War to the public. Director Frank Capra wanted the movies to be a response to Leni Riefenstahl's propaganda movie "Triumph of the Will", which he was very impressed by. The movie series was included in the "National Film Registry" in 2000.
