Archaeologist Jack Wilder (Shane West) accidentally receives clues to the location of El Dorado, the legendary city of gold, from an ancient Inca oracle. He sets off on a long journey to the center of Peru. His expedition turns into a deadly hunt when he is pursued by the mysterious mercenary Colonel Sam Grissom (Luke Goss) and falls into the hands of the corrupt Peruvian army.
