Fawn and the NeverBeast get into mischief and cause trouble for the fairy kingdom. Neither are what they seem. Will they always be misunderstood, or will the others come to see the light?

Watch "Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast":

Fawn has an affinity for animals, especially the ones that seem dangerous to fairies and the other residents of the fairy kingdom.

We get a glimpse of the trouble that follows Fawn around as a mishap occurs when she attempts to release a young hawk to the woods after mending its wing. The others discover her plan and throw a wrench in things, getting the attention of more adult hawks, who then attempt to attack the inhabitants. Nyx and the other warrior fairies manage to avoid disaster this time, and the young hawk is safely released, but Queen Clarion uses this as a teachable moment for Fawn to help her understand the danger she is putting the others in.

Later, a celestial object wakes up the NeverBeast and sets the next phase of the action in motion. Fawn befriends the beast, naming it Gruff. They initially have trouble understanding each other, but through a series of acts of kindness, they begin to see each other as friendly individuals, and they start working together to build a series of towers (though Fawn initially doesn't understand their purpose).

As Gruff and Fawn's friendship grows, Nyx and the others use ancient writings to ascertain that Gruff may be a threat to their land. They eventually capture Gruff, only for the looming threat to approach anyway.

Initially skeptical, Tink and Fawn's other friends come to understand that Gruff is more friend than foe. Once they are convinced, the others eventually come around as well.

Fawn then works to free Gruff so they can work together to save everyone. Once they do, Gruff then settles into another thousand years of hibernation.
