German actor who played at the German Theater Göttingen for many years. However, he became known nationwide for his role as “Hubert Koch” in the popular German soap opera “Lindenstraße”. Zimmerling played the role from 1988 to 1996 and died on March 14, 2005 in Nörten-Hardenberg.
