Reza lives a simple life in the Iranian north with his wife Hadis and their son. While Hadis is a school principal, Reza runs a goldfish farm. But he keeps getting into trouble because he is not willing to pay the usual bribes. When his influential neighbor cuts off his water supply for the farm, the situation soon escalates.
