French film adaptation of the comic classic. The Romans want to find out the secret of the small Gaulish village, whose inhabitants have superhuman powers. They smuggle a spy disguised as a Gaul into the village and after he learns about the magic potion, they kidnap the druid Getafix to their camp. Asterix sets out to free him.
