Mr. Monk goes to the 25-year reunion at his old university. But there he realizes that he wasn't as popular as he remembered. Only Dianne, Trudy's former roommate, receives him kindly. The reunion is overshadowed by the death of the now retired university nurse, which Captain Stottlemeyer believes to be murdered.
