Captain Stottlemeyer learns that his son Jared is skipping school and is at a rock festival. Natalie and, mistakenly, Mr. Monk go there with Stottlemeyer to look for Jared. Mr. Monk quickly regrets his decision, but then a dead roadie is found in the toilets. Now he has to help convict the famous rock singer Kris Kedder.
