The early 1980s in Iran: Olfat has raised her two children alone in the countryside. She especially mothers her son Younes. One morning, she finds only a note from the 19-year-old: He has volunteered for the war against Iraq. Then Olfat learns that he is missing after a front-line mission. But even after years, she refuses to give up hope.
