Composer John Russell, whose family is killed in an accident, tries to make a fresh start and retreats to an old house. There, however, he gradually witnesses supernatural phenomena, voices are heard and he has visions of a drowned boy. In a séance, he wants to get to the bottom of the matter. And soon a terrible secret comes to light.
