The year is 1985: Ron, a Texas electrician, learns that he has AIDS, for him a gay disease. The doctors give him 30 days to live, a possibly effective drug is not yet approved. So he smuggles medicine from Mexico into the U.S. and before he knows it, he has built up a thriving trade in illegal drugs.
