Jay bumps into his best friend Shorty, who is visiting from Costa Rica. He invites him to his house, but Shorty seems to get on better with Gloria than with Jay. Alex wants to get back at her mother Claire for making Ben look so bad by using an erotic painting set, and Cam and Mitch have the adopted son of their friends over, who are not at all child-friendly.
