Jen Barber faked IT knowledge when she applied for a job at a London company and therefore gets the job as head of the IT department at her interview with the incompetent manager Denholm Reynholm. There work the two nerds Roy and Maurice, who quickly find out that Jen has not a clue about computers.

Boss Denholm declares war on stress and therefore arranges for a stress seminar to be held at the company. But nerd Roy soon upsets the seminar leader, while Maurice replicates his stress measuring device. Jen has seen shoes in a store and is desperate to get them. The fact that they are a pair of sizes too small doesn't stop her from buying them.

3 ▶ Fifty-Fifty 2006-02-10

Roy fails a date because the woman thinks he smeared shit on his forehead. In fact, it was only chocolate, but Jen makes sure that the mishap is known everywhere. Roy now wants to prove to Jen that women like bastards and puts up an online dating ad. Meanwhile, Jen tries to impress security guard Daniel and pretends to know classical music.

Roy and Maurice have made it clear to Jen that she is not to open the red door in the office under any circumstances, but when Roy gets stuck under a desk after an assignment and Maurice goes to help him, Jen takes the chance. But what she finds behind the door gives her a huge shock.

5 ▶ The Haunting of Bill Crouse 2006-02-24

Jen had a disastrous date with her colleague Bill Crouse, so the next morning she tells Maurice not to let Bill into the office. To prevent this, Maurice can think of nothing better than to tell Bill that Jen has died overnight. The news quickly makes the rounds in the company and leads to great sympathy, but Jen is clueless.

6 ▶ Aunt Irma Visits 2006-03-03

Jen has a visit from "Aunt Irma" - that's what she calls it when she has her period - and is therefore quickly irritable. Soon Roy and Maurice also notice changes in themselves, as if they were also menstruating. Because Maurice sends out a circular e-mail about it, the whole country soon knows of it. In addition, Maurice goes to psychotherapy with a much older woman, but he finds her attractive.

Philip invites Jen to the theater. She hopes for a date, but Roy and Maurice also invite themselves to the performance, because in their opinion Philip is gay anyway. The play reinforces their opinion, because it is about homosexuals, which Roy and Maurice do not like at all. They actually want to leave during the intermission, but Roy's urge to urinate causes him to end up in a wheelchair.

Maurice takes an online test with Roy, which reveals that Roy will die next Thursday at 3pm. He is somewhat shocked, but before that there is another death: Boss Denholm jumps out the window when the police want to question him about irregularities in the pension fund. Denholm's funeral is at 3 pm on Thursday, of all days...

3 ▶ Moss and the German 2007-09-07

Roy wants to watch a movie with Maurice before a buddy tells him the ending. But his TV breaks down and Maurice thinks they both spend too much time together anyway. On Jen's advice to meet other people too, Maurice signs up for a German's cooking class. But this is a misunderstanding, because he is a cannibal and is looking for someone to be cooked.

Jen has a new boyfriend, Peter, with whom she wants to give a dinner party. But then the invited men cancel and Jen has no choice but to fill their gap with the three guys from her IT department, although she strongly doubts that they will behave appropriately towards the invited ladies.

Jen has problems with her pinching bra at work and tells Maurice about it. Jen is thrilled by it, and so Maurice wants to look for investors on television with his invention.

Roy and Maurice, meanwhile, use their new freedom without Jen to do what they weren't allowed to do before.

Jen has a handyman working in her apartment. Roy thinks he recognizes him from the TV show Builders from Hell in which it was shown how a craftsman secretly peed in the sink of his client. This gives Jen no peace of mind. Boss Douglas, meanwhile, is having increasing financial problems with the company, and Roy tries to help Maurice fight bullies.

Jen, meanwhile, is dating a man Roy thinks is a magician, which now gives her no peace.

Roy is with the attractive female colleagues of the seventh floor and makes fun of a photo of a man. It turns out to be the sick brother of one of the ladies. The women come up with the idea of raising money for him with a nude calendar and Roy immediately volunteers to be the photographer. But Jen wants their grannies to be pictured instead of the colleagues themselves.

Moss was successful in the TV quiz show "Countdown" and is therefore invited by a mysterious man to an exclusive club. At Roy's place, a window cleaner has dumped all his equipment. When he wants to get rid of it again, Roy meets an old college friend who now has to believe that he only made it as a window cleaner. Meanwhile, Jen is no longer allowed to attend company meetings.

He goes for a massage, where the masseur gives him a kiss on his bare bottom at the end, which disturbs Roy deeply.

Jen is jealous of a colleague and therefore brags about speaking Italian at a meeting. But when she tells him that her parents died in a fire at a water park, he just can't believe it.

In addition, Jen accidentally pours her coffee over a homeless woman. Both events are filmed and go viral. Meanwhile, Moss becomes more confident wearing women's pants.
