Brooke Elliott

Brooke Elliott (born October 31, 1974) is an American television, film, and stage actress, as well as a singer. She is perhaps best known for her role as Jane Bingum on Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva.

Elliott was born in Minnesota. Due to a job opportunity for her father, Bob, she moved to Riverview, Michigan, in her junior year and graduated from Gabriel Richard Catholic High School in 1993. Elliott then went on to Western Michigan University, where she graduated and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Performance.

She is a trained singer and has appeared in many Broadway shows, such as: Beauty and the Beast, The Pirate Queen, Taboo and Wicked.

Her sister, Jamie Alexander, teaches Psychology at Bishop Kelley High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Brooke's father, Robert “Bob” Elliott, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2010. He had lived and worked in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
