Eddy Kariti was born on May 14, 1982, in Chicago, Illinois to Amir Kariti and Anushka.

He is the youngest child of five siblings. His father was an electronic store manager, and his mother a hospital administrator. Kariti took to the stage early on, including his fair share of high school theater productions.

After completing high school, he moved from Chicago to New York where Eddy enrolled at Newtown School. Following his moving to LA, Kariti studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. His comedy calling motivated him to join the Monthly theater troupe.
